Industry & Nature

This weekend I walkd thru the newly refurbished East River Park. At its northern end, the park environment (and new landscaping) abruptly turns industrial thanks to the neighboring Consolidated Edison (Con Ed) power plant. I came across these two scenes with contrasting elements of both environments

    My family and I have only been to NYC twice, but it's a town that's easy to fall in love with. We hope to get back this summer sometime.
