Industry & Nature

This weekend I walkd thru the newly refurbished East River Park. At its northern end, the park environment (and new landscaping) abruptly turns industrial thanks to the neighboring Consolidated Edison (Con Ed) power plant. I came across these two scenes with contrasting elements of both environments

  1. Hey Joel. Glad to see you posting again. I especially like the bottom photo. Hope you're able to get out-and-about more soon. I miss all your NYC shots.

My family and I have only been to NYC twice, but it's a town that's easy to fall in love with. We hope to get back this summer sometime.

  2. Hey Joel, I posted a comment on your flickr page for the image "Lower Manhattan Cityscape". My screen name is ffmitch, so when I post more comments you'll know who it was.
