2 for 1: This building at 62 E. 4th Street was built in the 1880's and is currently home to the Duo Theatre. The facade is somewhat unique with circular fire stairs, mostly hidden in what looks like a column protruding from the facade. The second photo is a closer view of the stairs just above the ground floor.

The ever-changing NYC skyline. Compare today's photo to a similar view posted in July 2007 and note the building under construction to the right of the Empire State Building. It's grown a lot since July.

2 or 1 - Recent visit to check on the progress at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens. The closeup below shows two circular staircases on either side of what I believe to be the main entrance.

2 for 1 Subway Art. There's a series hanging in the Bowling Green subway station. The two shown here are of Castle Clinton and the tall ship Peking, docked at the South Street Seaport, both of which are a short walk from the station.

Looking up the East River from the Lower East Side. The bridge in the distance is the Queensboro (59th St.) Bridge. The buildings on the right side of the river are at Queens Landing, Long Island City.

Big, heavy, wet snow flakes falling on the Lower East Side. The temperature on the ground was above freezing so there was no accumulation. We've had surprisingly little snow this season.
