East Houston Street, still cleared of all traffic and parked cars for President Obama's motorcade last evening.

Looking uptown along Park Avenue South. The Met Life building in the background was originally known as the Pan Am Building (Pan American World Airways) when it was built in the early 1960s.

The Calvin Klein billboard on Houston Street was updated again. This was taken thru a tinted car window.

North of Grand

Looking north of Grand Street between Norfolk and Essex Streets. The old Seward Park High School building (left) now houses 5 smaller high schools instead. The taller building beyond the school is the new dormitory for the School of Visual Arts, at Delancey Street. And, the crazy-angled building between the two tall ones at the right is Blue, also at Delancey Street.
