Coenties Slip

Coenties Slip Park near the southern tip of Manhattan. This is just across the street from where I worked for a bunch of years (when I had a real job). And, no, after all these years I still don't know how to pronounce Coentis. The sculpture in the center is new and may actually be a water feature.

I love these "people" in a garden on the Lower East Side (E. Houston Street). There were no signs that I could see so I don't know the name of the garden or of the artist.

Sculpture at the Epiphany Peace Garden, Church of the Epiphany near Gramercy Park. The garden is dedicated to the memory of victims of the Sep 11 attacks (some of whom were parishioners).
