The 90 story condo building at 157 W 57th Street, aka One57. The building gained notoriety during Hurricane Sandy (while still under construction) when a part of a construction crane broke, leaving it dangling 75 floors above neighboring buildings. Seen from Columbus Circle, Manhattan.

East Midtown Plaza B&W
I took a photography course at Parsons last year and shot this photo for a "B&W" assignment. This is a tiny piece of the huge, block-long brick apartment complex at 23rd Street between 1st & 2nd Avenues, NYC [A7m2-2282 b&w acr(R)PScc]

Luminaire Gramercy

The banner above the entrance says “Brighter Living” and the building is living up to its new name, literally. This is the Luminaire Gramercy. It was formerly known as Post Luminaria. Developer Ben Shaoul recently acquired the property and is in the process of converting it from rentals to condos.
I'm guessing the blue spotlights placed in most of the rooms are in vacant/unsold apartments to draw the attention of passersby. They sure got my attention!

TTW - The Bronx, NY
Thru the window of a moving Amtrak Acela Express train somewhere in the Bronx. I believe the stacks, tanks and machinery in the foreground is some kind of Dept. of Sanitation facility in the Port Morris area of the Bronx.
If I got the location correct, then the bridge at the left should be part of the Robert F. Kennedy (aka Triboro) Bridge. [NEX-2279 acr(R)PScc]

Williamsburgh Savings Bank
Standing in an area where there seems to be endless new construction all around is this magnificent domed building - and some of its remaining "mature" neighbors - at Broadway & Driggs Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

TTW - Willow Steam Plant
Taken thru a hotel window (not the cleanest, either) in Philadelphia.... While playing with the zoom on my camera I saw this interesting building in the distance. It turns out to be an abandoned steam plant at 9th Street & Willow Street. I'm still trying to learn how to get "clean" shots at long focal lengths with this camera and I really should have used a tripod for this. Also lots of distance compression due to the long zoom. The zoom for this photo is the equivalent of about 440mm
